Meet Our Team
Dr. Sun Ku is an accomplished oral surgeon and implant dentist with special interest in digital implant dentistry and workflows involving simple and complex surgical placements, advanced bone grafting and use of Computed Tomography surgical guides. He has mentored over 40 implant dentists all over the UK from simple cases to complex full mouth rehabilitations alongside successfully maintaining several dental practices and two implant centres. Dr Sun will be able to offer you a structured training in implant surgery and restoration at the level that you choose, whether you require training in conventional guided bone regeneration, sinus lift or CAD CAM milled block bone graft, it will be achieved at a speed appropriate to your level of experience.
Dr. Alberto Pispero is an accomplished oral surgeon and implantologist with specializations in Oral Surgery and a Ph.D. in Oral Science from the University of Milan. Alongside his roles as a researcher and supervisor at the University, he maintains a thriving private practice in Milan since 2007, specializing in oral surgery, implantology, and oral rehabilitation. Dr. Alberto Pispero co-founded ACAPO, a non-profit organization focused on Oral Cancer Research, and serves as the Secretary of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration. He is an active member of the Societa Italiana di Patologia e Medicina Orale and the International Team for Implantology. In academia, Dr. Alberto Pispero holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Tutor at the School of Dentistry, University of Milan, and lectures in postgraduate programs for dentists. His commitment to advancing dentistry is evident through his clinical practice, academic contributions, and dedication to research and education.

Jaz Gulati is a General Dentist with an interest in Ortho- Restorative Dentistry, Occlusion and the conservative management of Temporo-mandibular Disorders. After qualifying from Sheffield University with Clinical Distinction in 2013, he completed Restorative DCT posts in both Guy’s Hospital and Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. He is the enthusiastic host of Protrusive Dental Podcast which is one of the most popular dental podcasts in the world with listeners from over 150 countries. Jaz is a self confessed ‘Dentistry Geek’ and loves to promote learning.
James’s week is split between his role as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester and a Specialist in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry at Clinic 334 in Wilmslow. In his hospital role he runs the emergency dental clinic and his clinical work largely focuses upon the acute and long term management of dental trauma. This involves management of complex endodontic sequelae and replacement of missing teeth, more often with implant supported prostheses. In specialist practice he accepts a mixture of endodontic and prosthodontic referrals working in a multidisciplinary specialist team.
Dr. Chia Yeoh is a dentist whose main focus is restorative and implant dentistry. His journey in dentistry has been marked by a commitment to innovation and excellence, being an early adopter fully digital workflow. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, Chia embraces technologies such as in-house planning and 3D printing to elevate the standard of care for his patients. Chia is dedicating to documenting his work through dental photography. Each procedure is meticulously captured, showcasing not only the technical proficiency but also capturing the artistic finesse of his work. For a number of years, Chia has enjoyed mentoring and lecturing to aspiring dentists, sharing his knowledge and experience to shape the future of the profession.
Shilpa has a keen interest in anxiety and pain management and works broadly across Manchester in the provision of dental conscious sedation for adults and children. Shilpa is passionate about improving access to high quality dentistry for anxious patients and decided to set up a mobile sedation service locally in Manchester in 2014 to share her extensive experience of dental sedation. She has built and established a service, providing dental sedation to thousands of individuals across numerous locations. With a busy schedule she splits her time across private dental practice, mobile sedation and the Manchester Dental Hospital with an NHS role as a Restorative Speciality dentist. Here she focuses on treating adults with severe anxiety or complex medical conditions in the field of Special care Dentistry with an active role in training qualified dentists in conscious sedation.

I've not had any surgical experience, do I need previous oral surgery experience?
The Implant Course is suitable for all general practitioners and experienced oral surgeons. We will teach you all the skills and techniques to gain oral surgery dexterity for dental implant surgery.
I've heard some of my colleagues who have been on other implant courses that not every graduate places dental implants after. What guarantee do I have on this course over others?
We guarantee 100% that you will place dental implants in your practice / hospital. We provide 1-1 mentoring session and personal support to guide you all the way.
Is the mentoring included as part of the course?
Yes! We are unique this way and we believe that mentoring after a course is ESSENTIAL for advanced development in implant dentistry. We provide two mentoring sessions a your practice or hospital to jump start your implant career.
What is ODS software?
ODS software is a comprehensive digital implant software that allows our delegates to harness the power of computers to not only plan but to execute construction of dental implant crowns, bridges, and guides as well as create bone graft and abutments.
My principal uses a different implant software, is this suitable for the course?
We encourage exposure to different softwares available on the market, however we have used all the major softwares on the market (and we mean all!) and ODS is the best for implant surgery. As a side module we can teach you the software of your choosing, but we guarantee you will prefer ODS.
I've placed some implants in hospital but would like to get more confident, is this course suitable?
Of Course! Over time we have had Maxillo facial registrars, SHO's as well as other implant surgeons attend to learn. We would strongly recommend speaking to the course organiser to discuss exactly what you want to get out of the course to ensure its the right fit for you. I have a loyal patient that would like dental implants, can I treat them on the course?
Astounding yes! We would welcome, and you would have extra planning session with us to ensure its a right case for the course.
My usual nurse doesn't have any implant training, do they need one to support me after the course?
We believe that nurses are a crucial element to your implant success. Team work makes any procedure seam flawless. So we have a separate course dedicated to implant nursing. However these are not generic course to satisfy aseptic preparation, they will be tailored to your practice and surgery.
What if I can't come to Italy for last module?
Don't worry, we have a special module for everything in module 6 (except the facilities tour) in the UK
Why is the course limited to 10 delegates?
Our vision and aim is to ensure every delegate gets the close attention and support. More delegates means that our attention is spread thinly and cannot guarantee everyone gets all the support they require.
If I pay 10% deposit, when is the rest due?
We will send you an invoice at Module 3 (50%) and at Module 5 (40%)
As its intense, if I graduate but I want to revise a certain module will you provide course materials to read?
We'll do even better, you'll be invited on to the next available module. Our Philosophy is continuous learning, so all of our graduates are welcome to any UK modules as long as theres seating space. Even if there is advancement in techniques or change of protocol, we actively encourage graduates to come along so they are up to date with the latest modern ways with all things implants.
